info

The project was called “model houses”, representing a technological experiment carried out in order to multiply by series production a special construction system. It consists of load-bearing panels with a wooden structure, fiber-cement faces and polyurethane interior insulation, assembled in a carpenter’s way. Due to the sloping terrain and geological conditions, the infrastructure was made of reinforced concrete, offering a board on which the two coupled triplex houses were assembled like a lego game. Overall, we can define the project as “wooden”, as a defining material of the structural system. The size of the panels limited the openings, which were multiplied to provide the necessary light. The homes comfort was achieved by offering distinctive spaces very well functionally grouped. Unfortunately, the construction was not completed, being abandoned by the investor.
