info

A new site became available for collective housing. It is located between an ensemble of apartment buildings from the 80s and an industrial site. The finesse of the solution consists in adopting the oblong rectangular form and pushing the parking spaces into an extended slab of the ground floor. We designed the apartments according to the structural grid of the parking, developing three different plan layouts for the floors. In the first stages of the project, our client seemed very pleased with the diversity that we could offer for his clients. In the end, he decided to use only one plan layout. We had to readapt the project. The building has the characteristics of classical modernism, playing with tools such as the right angle, horizontal lines, and loggia. We designed exterior metal louvers that could have given the building a distinctive look. Still, the client declined them.
