200 hectares of public-owned undeveloped land was concessioned to private developers to build a large new neighborhood. We received the first stage of the master plan to design social housing and some other housing in order to generate the first coherent complete phase of the huge project. On a plateau, we designed a group of high rise and on the sloped parts, a stepped sequence of mid-rise was proposed. A third part was dedicated to a mixed-use pole. Despite the enthusiasm of the developers and the powerful start of the project development, nothing was transposed into reality and after a couple of years the world crisis has been installed and the project was forgotten.
